PRE- OP Instructions

  • Do not apply products that are potentially irritating for 2 -3 days before and after treatment (examples- retinol, tretinoin/retin-a, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, hydroquinone) 
  • Avoid the use of Aspirin, NSAIDS, Green Tea, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamins A and E, and essential fatty acids for up to 1 week pre and post injection as they will increase your risk of bruising 
  • Arrive with a clean face. Please do not wear makeup!



POST- OP Instructions

  • Avoid touching or scrubbing at the injection site for 24 hours after treatment
  • Do not apply products that are potentially irritating for 2 -3 days before and after treatment (examples- retinol, tretinoin/retin-a, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, hydroquinone) 
  • Avoid the use of Aspirin, NSAIDS, Green Tea, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamins A and E, and essential fatty acids for up to 1 week pre and post injection as they will increase your risk of bruising 
  • Experiencing slight discomfort in the first two days after the procedure is normal, it will gradually reduce
  • Do not pull your facial skin, massage, scrub or exfoliate the skin for at least three weeks
  • Do not wash or touch your face for at least 12 hours


What to expect after treatment

  • 4 week post op is always recommended and scheduled before dismissal after first session 
  • 2-3 sessions may be needed to achieve maximum results
  • Follow up treatments should be scheduled about 4-6 weeks apart
  • Swelling, redness, bruising and tenderness in area is normal and will last up to 1 week
