Routine Care – Preventive exams and hygiene visits are recommended at least every 6 months to keep teeth and gums healthy. These visits are for patients without active gum infection or periodontal disease and focus on prevention and maintenance.
Periodontal therapy is needed when inflammation has traveled into the gums & then to the bone surrounding your teeth causing a lack of support & potential mobility of the teeth. These appointment recalls are suggested every 3-4 months (more frequent than in patients with a healthy oral state).

We love being a part of your child’s dental experience! We recommend a first exam around 12–18 months of age, followed by regular checkups every 6 months to monitor growth and development. For children who feel anxious, we also offer nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) to help keep visits comfortable and stress-free.
We use dental fillings to fill a small hole in the tooth: a cavity. After decay is removed, we place filling material (our office places white/tooth-colored fillings) to stop any further decay that may result in more intensive treatments or the eventual loss of the tooth due to untreated decay.
Crowns are used to restore teeth that are cracked, broken, weakened after large fillings, or following root canal treatment. Instead of multiple visits, we scan your tooth digitally (no messy impressions), design and fabricate the crown in-office, and deliver it before you leave. That means no temporary crown and no second appointment needed.
Root Canals are sometimes needed to save an unhealthy tooth—such as one that’s infected, cracked, or has a cavity reaching the nerve. Treatment removes the infection and seals the tooth so it can be restored and kept in place. More complex cases may be referred to a specialist.

Removable Partial Dentures replace missing teeth. The patient will wear during the day & take out to clean or during bedtime. The appliance hooks to remaining teeth to help keep it in place. Our office does not offer traditional complete dentures (plates), but we do offer removable partial denture options, fixed partial dentures (bridges) & implant-retained dentures.
Dental Implants replace missing teeth with a solution that looks, feels, and functions like natural teeth. A small titanium post is placed in the jaw to act as the root, then restored with a crown, bridge, or denture. Our office both places and restores implants, so your entire treatment is completed here.
Clear aligners are orthodontic devices that are a transparent, plastic form of dental braces used to align teeth. These invisible braces are removable & designed to correct mild to moderate orthodontic problems. **Dr. Webster, an orthodontist is in our office on Fridays to facilitate traditional metal braces or more complex cases if your case should so require.
Veneers are an option to help achieve your most perfect smile. Typically, they are a choice for those with gapped, chipped, or misshaped teeth. Dental veneers are thin porcelain covers that adhere to your teeth to give them a more aesthetic appearance. Dental veneers are made out of a porcelain material.
In- office whitening is performed by trained dental professionals. Getting teeth whitened by your dentist's office can yield excellent results because of the high concentrations of professional bleaching agents. Typically the procedure takes an hour or less.

We offer comprehensive care for patients with jaw pain, headaches, and other symptoms of temporomandibular disorders (TMD). Treatment often includes custom splint therapy to protect the joints and muscles, along with muscle neuromodulation using Botox® to relieve pain and deactivate trigger points. Dr. Hughes is highly trained in the therapeutic use of Botox and teaches advanced techniques to other providers nationwide.
Gum contouring reshapes the gum line to create a more balanced, attractive smile. We perform this treatment with a dental laser, which makes the procedure more precise, more comfortable, and allows for quicker healing compared to traditional methods. This option is ideal for patients with excess or uneven gum tissue that makes teeth appear too small—revealing more of your natural smile.
Implant-Retained Dentures (“snap-in” dentures) use dental implants to secure a removable denture in place. Instead of relying on suction or adhesive, the denture attaches to implants for greater stability, comfort, and chewing ability. This option combines the security of implants with the convenience of a removable appliance. Our office does not provide full dentures without implants for retention.
Our office can screen for oral signs of sleep apnea and, when needed, order sleep studies you can complete in the comfort of your own home. If treatment is recommended, we can create a custom oral appliance (OAT) to help keep your airway open at night—an effective, comfortable alternative to CPAP for many patients.
A frenectomy is a simple procedure that releases a tight frenum—the small band of tissue under the tongue (tongue-tie) or upper lip (lip-tie). When these tissues are too restrictive, they can affect speech, feeding, dental development, or cause spacing between teeth. Using our dental laser makes the procedure more precise, gentler, and promotes faster healing with minimal discomfort.
Also known as “laughing gas,” nitrous oxide is a safe and effective way to ease dental anxiety. It helps patients of all ages feel calm and comfortable during treatment, while staying awake and responsive. The effects wear off quickly, so you can safely drive yourself home afterward—no driver required.
Not all dental offices have this technology. Our 3-D scans go beyond standard X-rays, giving a full view of teeth, bone, and supporting structures of the head and neck. This advanced imaging helps us provide the most accurate diagnosis and precise treatment planning—another way we go above and beyond to ensure the best results for our patients.
Say goodbye to messy, uncomfortable dental impressions. Our digital intraoral scanners create highly precise 3-D images of your teeth in just minutes—no gagging, no trays of goo. This advanced technology makes your care more comfortable while ensuring a more accurate fit for crowns, bridges, implants, and other treatments.
