Restorative Dentistry

DENTAL FILLINGS

Dental fillings are used to treat cavities. The dentist wants to remove the decayed part of the tooth and fill it to stop any further action from happening.

CROWNS

A dental crown is a procedure to restore a damaged tooth to its normal shape, size, and function.  It can be made from a variety of materials, such as porcelain.  At our office, we offer same day crowns through our modern technology.

Endodontics

Root canals are sometimes needed for an unhealthy tooth.  This includes cracked tooth, deep cavity.  The goal is to stop the bacteria from causing infection so we can save the tooth.  Carefully, we remove the infected pulp, bacteria inside the tooth, disinfect, and then fill and seal.

ImplaNts

Dental implant surgery is a procedure that replaces tooth roots and replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function much like real ones.  Dental implants can be an alternative to dentures that may not fit as secure.

Removable Partial dentures

Removable Partial Dentures are a good option for replacing many teeth. Removable Partial Dentures are an appliance that can be removed from the mouth. This appliance is taken in and out of the mouth.  The patient will wear and use during the day and taken out during bedtime.   The appliance will hook on to the remaining teeth to help keep the denture in place.  There are two main types of removable partial dentures, metal based and non metal type.

COMPLEX dENTURES

Complex or Complete Dentures are full coverage oral prosthetic appliance that replaces a complete arch of missing teeth.  They can be removable or implant retained.  Complete dentures help to restore function and aesthetics.  Removable complete dentures differ from implant retained complete dentures.  Implant retained dentures help to keep the appliance(s) secure and help maintain the remaining bone and gum.
