Neurotoxin

(Botox/Dysport) // the treatment of pain and/or dynamic wrinkles due to hyperactive muscle activity // $12 per unit or $11 per unit when administered w/ regularly scheduled dental recare appointments (dental cleaning & exam) or $10 per unit for #freshfacefam

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

dermal fillers to immediately restore volume loss, enhance features, or augment treated areas to balance the facial aesthetic // $$ Price is dependent on number of sessions, product types/amounts chosen for desired results.  Upon consultation, you’ll be given a comprehensive beauty plan in which the full facial aesthetic will be addressed and planned with you.  The plan will then be presented at that time so you understand treatment sequencing & cost.  With this, pre-paid money-saving packages can be formed on a case-by-case basis to best save time & money w/ treatment.  Aesthetic consultations are $50 which are then applied toward treatment should you go forward w/ treatment the day of consultation.  The $50 is due at the time of scheduling.  See the appointment etiquette menu tab for more information.

Sculptra

gradually promotes collagen induction to restore lost volume building a better foundation for beauty maintenance.  Best when administered in sessions (typically 3-4 sessions spaced about 6 weeks apart).  Best results can be expected 3-4 months following the final session. // $800 per vial w/ prepaid money-saving packages available on a case-by-case basis once the number of vials & sessions are determined for your individual case.

Kybella

permanently dissolves unwanted fat cells to smooth & contour.  Most commonly used in the FDA approved submental region to target the “double-chin,” but can be used in any area where fat can be easily isolated like the underarm bulge (roll between the bra and arm), the bra bulge (bulging area above a/o below the bra on the back), the banana roll (area between the butt and leg), knee fat (the bulge above the knee) and jowls. // $600 per vial w/ the average (more ideal) double-chin patient requiring 3-4 vials in 1-2 sessions.  Best results are 3-6 months following the final session since the skin continues to rebound (tighten) for unto 6 months post treatment.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Most commonly used in the undereye area to improve fine lines, texture, loose skin, minor loss of volume, wrinkles, and pigmentation (“dark undereyes”).  This is an all-natural treatment used by separating the growth factors from your own body’s blood to signal the stimulation of your own collagen and elastin for regeneration of new healthy skin tissue.  This yields gradual and natural results with best results seen approximately 3 months following the final session (the amount of time it takes your body to form new collagen).  2-3 sessions, approximately 6 weeks apart are recommended for most to see significant improvement, but then semi-annual to annual maintenance sessions can keep results looking fresh.  Individual results will vary depending on your body’s response to the PRP induced collagen regeneration.  PRP injection treatments below the skin in the under-eye area will not have the immediate and final results of a dermal filler treatment because the volume added by PRP injection is resorbed by your body within 2-3 days with gradual tissue regeneration beginning within days and continuing for months after the treatment. // $300 per session w/ pre-paid money saving packages available on a case-by-case basis once the number of sessions for your particular case is determined.

Threads

Lifting Threads

temporary sutures are used to produce a subtle, but visible “lift” in the skin. Instead of removing the patient’s loose facial skin surgically, the lifting thread simply suspends it. This has the effect of pulling the skin back slightly and therefore lifting and tightening the treated area(s), but lifting threads are not a replacement for a facelift.  Instead, lifting threads are early intervention for early signs of skin laxity to both reduce looseness (by thickening and hydrating the skin) and to prevent it from getting worse (by strengthening the skin). Better than the “lifting” effect, threads combat aging in another way: by provoking the body’s “healing response” and causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to treated areas. Dr. Hughes’ favorite area to treat with lifting threads are the lower face especially the jawline.  ***An important factor to note is that lifting threads are not often the first line of treatment as all areas of volume deficiency should be addressed first with fillers prior to thread treatment. // $$ Price is dependent on the treatment area(s) & the difficulty of the case in regards to how many threads will be needed to achieve the desired result but the average jawline thread lift in our office is around $500.  A consultation to determine your candidacy & indivudualized teatment needs would be required at which point your comprehensive beauty plan including treatment pricing would be presented.

Smooth Threads

Like lifting threads in that they induce your body’s natural collagen formation, except smooth threads are much smaller and offer no “lift.”  Used in areas where we’d want to “fill” only and to add tensile strength in the way of new collagen.  Common uses are for areas of tired, crepey skin, common around the eyes, the upper lip, the hollows of the cheeks, under the chin and around the mouth.  Dr. Hughes particularly loves them at the lip borders to sharpen anatomy, philtral columns, nasiolabial folds, stubborn forehead lines like those 11’s you started treating too late with Botox, perioral wrinkling and acne scarring.  As with any treatment where collagen induction is the primary goal, certain areas may need a series of 2-3 treatments (like perioral lines, nasiolabial folds, or forehead lines) and area of acne scarring may take closer to 4-6 treatments depending on the severity or the case and the desired goal.  Collagen induction is gradual so recall that best results are seen once the body has had time to produce said collagen (3-6 months following the final treatment). // $$ Price is dependent on the treatment area(s) & the difficulty of the case in regards to how many threads will be needed to achieve the desired result but the average smooth thread session is around $300 w/ pre-paid money saving packages available on a case-by-case basis once the number of sessions for your particular case is determined.  Enhancement to the lip borders w/o need for treatment of perioral lines typically only requires one session.  A consultation to determine your candidacy & indivudualized teatment needs would be required at which point your comprehensive beauty plan including treatment pricing would be presented.

Microblading

Feather strokes with custom shades to mimic natural hairs creating the appearance of naturally full, timeless-looking brows. Microblading will not take the place of makeup for a client who likes a more solid, filled-in look (see “Brow Shading” below in that case). // $500 includes one touch-up session at 4-8 weeks at no charge.  There will be a charge for touch-ups that are booked past this suggested “touch-up” period.

Brow Shading

When a more uniform brow is desired, “brow shading” or “powdering” is completed with a machine rather than by hand as in microblading.  There are no hair strokes in a powder brow.  This is a good option for clients who like a more solid filled in eyebrow, and also for very oily complexions who do not retain hair strokes as well. This would also be a way to work with previously tattooed eyebrows that are faded enough for us to consider touching up. Microblading is not an efficient method to do touch ups on previously tattooed eyebrows, as you will still see the old tattoo through the hair strokes. // $500 includes one touch-up session at 4-8 weeks at no charge.  There will be a charge for touch-ups that are booked past this suggested “touch-up” period.

Combo Brows

A combination brow is achieved by combining the two previously discussed brow options for some microbladed hair strokes with a shading or “powdering” effect on the more defined area of the brows. If there are areas of your eyebrow with no natural hair growth that you would like filled in, we may decide to add some shading to blend in to where your natural hair starts to grow.  If you are someone who has had your eyebrows microbladed, but decide you want a more filled in look, we can add “powdering,” or shading to your touch-up for an upcharge. This may eleviate the amount of makeup added to your microblading on a daily basis if you find yourself liking a more filled in eyebrow than what just a microblade application has to offer. Machine work does last longer than microblading, and some skin tends to accept pigment better with this application.  Recall that machine work is a good option for clients who’s skin does not retain or heal with microblading as well as others. // $500 includes one touch-up session at 4-8 weeks at no charge.  There will be a charge for touch-ups that are booked past this suggested “touch-up” period.
